Published on the occasion of Trockle’s exhibition at the Anders Tonberg Gallery, this book concerns itself with the culture/nature divide, particularly the tendency of humans to anthropomorphize the animal “kingdom.” The book is divided into six chapters, each devoted to a different series of artworks including parades of caterpillars, portraits of dogs, and exquisite photographs of spiderwebs. Inset into the inside back cover is an additional smaller artist book which further elaborates on this complex and fascinating theme. Beautiful printing, in a slipcase and with the original chalk paper around the cover.
