This artist’s book of the same name was created as a result of the ‘Fragile’ exhibition. With this expo, PARCUM focuses entirely on Van Caeckenbergh’s Horebeek period (1997-2017). In 1997, the Belgian artist and his family settled in this tiny village in the Flemish Ardennes. The move from the raging society to this rippling microcosm meant the discovery of a new world. In the tribute book ‘Greetings from St. Kornelis Horebeke’, Van Caeckenbergh writes that he ended up in a treasure trove of images and stories, “invisible at first sight, but oh! so delicate in its existence”.
