The delicate experiment of a double show like this one forces interference and tension between two distinct bodies of work, with the work of one artist providing the framework for the other, and vice versa. Nevertheless, it is an exemplary show in which a kind of choreography between Borremans, a painter, and Manders, a sculptor and installation architect, emerges through a sombre colours and formal contrasts.
