Murielle Scherre

Murielle Scherre is the woman behind the lingerie label ‘La Fille ‘O’.

She chooses books partly as a source of inspiration for her designs. Whereas she used to buy mainly magazines, she now prefers books because they are more inclined to show the ‘raw’ version and put less emphasis on the glossy. Muriel is fascinated by ‘And the Ass Saw the Angel’ by Nick Cave because it shows a different side of the musician and singer. Muriel has also published two books of her own: ‘Lingerie en Lollipops’ and ‘Kruisverhoor’.
Her choice: books about the fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, director David Lynch and artist Hans Bellmer.
